It’s a 5 mile long “haunted house” along the track of the Jefferson &
Cypress Bayou Railway. Board our steam train for the ride of your life!
We’ve added all new haunts this year and doubled the number of actors.
How long does the Runaway Fright Train take?
G and PG rated rides take about 45 minutes.
What is the difference between “G” and “PG” trains?
For those in the G crowd looking for fun in the corn maze but not wanting to end the evening with nightmares, come through the maze from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a family-friendly experience. From 7:00 p.m. until closing, we kick it up to full-fledged terror – but still make the event age specific if the younger set is walking through.
Do babies need a ticket?
Children 2 years and under do not need a ticket as long as they ride on your lap.
What is the Creepy Screamin' Corn Maze?
It is a 2 acre corn maze in the middle of our park. Picture
the post apocalyptic wasteland and you’ll have a vague idea of what this
is all about. This attraction is acceptable for all audiences.
Our actors "scale" the horror based on the make up of each group of
customers. If you have small children, they go a little "light."
Then they ramp it back up again for the teens and adults.
How long does the Creepy Screamin’ Maze take?
About 30 minutes. This includes the time you may have to wait in
line.
When is a good time to board the train?
If you buy your tickets online, you need to be IN LINE 30-45 minutes
PRIOR to the departure time of your scheduled train. If your tickets
have not been redeemed for boarding passes 30 minutes before the train is supposed to
leave, they will be re-sold to our stand-by customers. Be sure to allow
plenty of time to get into the park, to park your car, and to get your
boarding passes before you head to the train.
Are these events appropriate for children or people with heart
conditions?
People with small children or heart conditions are advised to ride the
“G rated” trains. The Creepy Screamin’ Maze IS scary, but actors can
“scale back” the terror for the little ones that wish to enter the maze.
People with small children and heart
conditions should use their own judgment on whether or not to
participate in this attraction.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed on the premises?
No. Nor are public intoxication, drugs or weapons allowed.
Are there concessions available for purchase in the park?
Yes.
Is there security at the park?
Yes, we have hired “security guards” and we also have 2 police on the
premises every night from the time the park opens until the park closes. |
